Hut Stricklin is a former NASCAR driver who competed in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1984 to 1998. He was born on June 5, 1961, in Calera, Alabama.
Stricklin started his racing career in the late 1970s, and made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 1984 at Talladega Superspeedway. Throughout his career, he drove for several different teams, including Junior Johnson, Hendrick Motorsports, and Donlavey Racing.
Stricklin's best finish in the NASCAR Cup Series came in 1996 when he finished 15th in the points standings. He also had three top-5 finishes and 15 top-10 finishes in his career.
After retiring from full-time racing in 1998, Stricklin continued to make occasional appearances in the NASCAR Cup Series and other racing series. He currently works as a consultant and driver coach for young up-and-coming drivers.
